Hi Nick!

Thanks so much for mentioning my post, “Teaching Our Children to be Good Travelers.”

My family and I will be traveling to Australia for the first time in December. My children have never been on a plane for that great length of time. I wrote a post asking for suggestions as to the best way to travel to your country from New York City.

I suggested perhaps doing it the more unique way of JFK to Hong Kong over the North Pole (15 hours but a very cool experience), spending a couple of days in Hong Kong and then taking a plane to Australia. We’d have carry-on luggage with us and let the main luggage travel on to the next flight to Australia.

Any suggestions or posts that you can recommend?

Thanks,

Kim Swidler-Travel Gal
